Need a Raymarine RayData Display

My RayData is crapping out on me. Electronically, it still works and is sending GPS/Speed/Depth/Temp data to the Radar/Chartplotter unit. What doesn't work is the actual display.

So, if anyone has a RayData display they want to sell or knows where I can find one, please drop me a line.

Thanks.

Raymarine customer service has a $199 flat rate repair charge. they have it listed on thier website. if you get a used one you may have the same problems in a couple seasons. I would go for the repair or use your chartplotter for the data.

I went throught the same thing this year. Display was crapped out. Called raymarine and they said they no longer repair that model. I think ours are probably from the same era.

I ended up buying a new unit and Raymarine said it was plug and play with my existing transducer. And yes it was. Mounted the new one in (slight hole enlargement and new screw holes) and works like a charm.

I decided to buy the depth only unit as I never used speed or cared about water temp. It saved me about 100-150 $$ over the tridata as I remember.

Now I have big nice numbers on the depth display.

Thanks for the info guys. I have a standalone Raymarine fishfinder that I use for depth and temp. I primarily used the Raydata for displaying GPS coordinates, SOG, COG, and XTE. I have been unable to find any of the ST60 series units that display GPS info.

To replace an older unit you have few choises: ebay, graigslist, FP marine and few others.

I don't know of ST60s that do, but if you have a chartplotter why can't you just view the coordinates there?

I like the tri-data units and installed one for the convenience. If you will choose ST60, just make sure to get ST60+.
