Need a Lowrance 3500 display unit

This may be a long shot, but my lowrance 3500 display is starting to get flaky and I wanted to see if anyone has a working lowrance 3500 display available (or knows where I can get one).

(alternatively - is there a recommended replacement that will fit the hole that's already there?)

Can't help with a replacement other than to say the 3500 depth sounder has been out of production many years and Lowrance stopped supporting them long ago. They were already unsupported when ours failed in 2009. BTW you will need to replace the transducer if you can't find a replacement because the 3500 uses a frequency that is no longer used by anyone.

Both the hole in the dash for the head, and the one in the hull for the transducer are standard sizes.

As for a replacement that depends on many things, i.e. do you have a MFD that supports depth display?, are you looking for fish finding capability, or just simple depth data?, a stand alone device? etc.

Simple depth and temperature would be fine. I don't have an MFD... I'd prefer just a simple small circular display that matches the size of the current unit

I can't really help with a recommendation for a standalone replacement. My suggestion would be to contact the folks at BOE. They probably can give you a good recommendation and price on a replacement display and transducer.
