My fuel gauge appears to be finished. I jumped across the sensor terminal and it won't budge off empty. I have a signal from the level sensor on the pink wire at the gauge.

Is there anywhere that I might be able to find an NOS '88 style gauge? This is the black 2" gauge with white lettering, green illumination, and a green outlined "SR" logo on the bottom.

If not what can I use to replace it?

There may not be one for the year of your boat here but I thought I'd mention for anyone looking for sea ray parts:

http://stores.ebay.com/MarineMaxx

MarineMax has a Ebay story where they upload alot of good stuff. I personally got a second cockpit table and leg from them from there. MSRP was like $300 for the table I think I paid $150 for the table leg and shipping which was very fast.

Just thought I'd offer it up as a place to look.

They had a newer style one for $13 and I snatched it up. If I ever find the correct one I can replace it but at least I'll have a functional gauge. Thanks!

Greetings,

I have a Sea Ray 340 and have replaced my fuel gauges with Ocean Gauges LLC units that read in % Remaining -or- Gallons Remaining, depending on your preference. These gauges are fully programmable, in other words you can input the total quantity of your fuel tank into the programing and then also calibrate it during a refill, if so desired. This calibration will build a new curve in non-volatile memory (permanently remembers) and takes out some of the errors in your sending unit while correcting for shape of tank.

These Ocean Gauges LLC displays can digitally and accurately display Tanks, Voltage, Temps (engine/oil), Oil Pressures (Engine/Gear), Rudder Angles, and Trim Tabs. Temps and Pressures have alarms that can be set at almost whatever value you wish to set it at -and- you can calibrate these displayed values for errors in the sending units! They also have a synchronized dimming function when installing multiple units.

Like I said, I am a proud Sea Ray owner and must confess that I am also the president of Ocean Gauges LLL. I developed these replacement gauges because I couldn't stand the accuracy of the old ones. Check out the web-site and give us some feedback...maybe buy a new set! www.oceangauges.com Cheers,
