Need a bimini boot....

Hey guys,

I have a after-market bimini top on the boat from Westland. It is a taupe color to match the rest of the interior vinyl. Measurement from outside to outside is about 92".

I have am looking for one the says "Sea Ray" across the back like a factory bimini boot would say. I would of course want a taupe or maybe a black one to match the stripes on the boat.

I am thinking of all the people on this website, one of you have to know of one that is laying around that somebody would want to sell and get a few bucks out of. I have checked with my marina and they do not have any laying around, but they did offer to order one for around $100. I said I will check around and get back with them...

If anybody has any clues or might have one, please let me know.

1. Go to e-Bay 2. For best-match SeaRay canvas. Go to www. greatlakesboattop.com. Chances are, they installed the original canvas on your boat. If you have an after market top, they have a section to type in your special request with your dimensions. It helps them if you have your SeaRay Hull ID #. They can look up exact info for color matches of how your boat left the factory. FYI...Original SeaRay canvas has a SO # (sales order number), and that helps them too.

I'm guessing your HIN starts with SERA. That means it was built at Sea Ray's Phoenix plant. Westland was actually the OEM supplier to that plant. They are still in business (although SR closed their Phoenix plant.) but don't do any Sea Ray work any more. Great Lakes canvas has told me in the past that they will not supply canvas to boats they did not do the OEM work on. I also have a SERA boat. Great Lakes might sell you a bimini cover, but that might be all.

Just FYI, I have a 2000 190 Signature with a factory bimini and the boot doesn't say Sea Ray or have a logo on it.

I priced one out for my last boat from Great Lakes and it was about $50 if I recall correctly. I believe they are offering all canvas on sale now.
