Need a BIG favor in the FT Worth texas area

I've got a problem.I bought a B3 drive from a guy and he went to jail.It's an ebay/paypal deal so good luck getting my money back without him.I can prove all this so everything is on the up and up.

It is a bravo 3 lower and the props are on the shaft.

I need someone to go pick this up and box it up.I'll have Fed-Ex come get it from you.The girl that has the drive on her property knows what is going on.She think maybe his roommate can pack it up BUT I'm not betting on that.I'd rather have someone that knows what they are doing go get it.

If this is something you guys can help me out with then let me know.

are you sure fed x will ship a lower complete with props?

i had a alpha 1 shipped and ups would do it if split. fed x wouldn't

props would need broken off and shipped separate and still not sure a b3 lower would go. we had to have ours shipped truck freight common carrier

That only works if the guy has money in his paypal account.He is new...and in jail.If the money is still there then it's mine.

I've already filed a dispute but that takes time and more than likely won't work.


It takes 2 days to have the funds transferred to your account from paypal.Once that is done good luck seeing it again.It was well over 2 days when I filed a complaint.

I mean, the money might stull be there, who knows.I won't until he balks on the response time from paypal and they sieze his account.They still can't take money off his bank account if it's not there.

Either way, I'm getting the drive/props.If I happen to get the money back and he gets out of jail then I will pay him the money back minus what it cost me to get it here.

There, I've said it for everyone to read.I treat people like I would want to be treated.Only way to do business and sleep.I'm not selling my soul over $1200....but i will go after it.

This is going back some time, and has a bigger back story that I don't need to get into here, but Paypal has reversed a transaction ~$10K 3 months after the payment cleared. We owed that money back, because Paypal said so...

Point being, You can get your money back...start shopping for a different leg.

Ok, let me make this clear.if you have no money in your account paypal can NOT do anything about it.They lock your account.When and if you use your paypal they will add the full amount on the transaction.They can't charge your bank account or credit card without you 1st initiating a charge.

All the guy has to do is not ever use that paypal account....and not have anything in it by the time I made the dispute.

I'll take whatever happens but I have to try both routes to cover my azz.:thumbsup:

Okay, I am always buying and selling on E bay, within the past 6 months or so the policy has changed and even though you have paid, the money is basicly in the possession of paypal and they WILL NOT release the money to him until you have left feed back. So until doing so the money will be controlled by pay pal, as for shipping I won a bid on a "Alpha" complete from driveshaft to stainless prop and was shipped UPS. It was wrapped in bubble wrap and then put into a regular cardboard box and sealed up. I wouldnt worry about the money your protected, however I would want my drive instead of the money, hope this may ease your peace and mind a little.
