Sea Ray Navigator II GPS

I am in the process of purchasing a used Sea Ray Sundancer 40.
It is equipped with a Navigator II and a Raymarine E120.
It has been a coastal craft, but will now be used on inland waterways, primarily in Minnesota.
I know I can get a chip for the E120 from Navionics, but what do I need to bring the Navigator II up to speed or is the mapping all self contained?
Where can I obtain whatever I need?
