Nantucket this Weekend

Ric, other than a long haul for you, it is a great town. Lot's of "people watching", if bringing kiddies, be prepared to cover their eyes on occasion. If I have to explain, you may want to Google P-town to see some local flavor.....worth the trip though.

Two of us are heading over to Nantucket for Friddy (21) and Saturday (22) if anyone interested....
'Paint, How long to get there from Hyannis???? Takes me an hour to O.B.. Havn't done that trip to ACK yet and want to. Looks like it will be another great weekend weather wise!

Kat....A great destination.....One of my favorite ports of call......Great beaches, people watching and really great shows......I love the shows at night.........I was there two years ago with my buddy on his sail boat (I need not say too much more) about two guys on a boat and going out at night.....I was taking a movement (bowel movement) in the town shower and a guy started knocking on the partition and he asked for toilet paper......Still not sure if that was a pick up line........I bring my kids and they have no problem until the lights go down.....We must remember, we are guests in their town....Have a ass, I mean blast.......

Cape....It is 1 1/4 hours from hyannis to Nantucket.

Thinking of going to P-TOWN memorial weekend. Is this a good idea? Never been there on a boat. Ric

We went to P-Town the last 2 years on Memorial Day. Lots of moorings available. Launch is easy. Great harbor and fishing. I brought the whole family. You'll have no problem with the kids. My mother and sister were shocked at some of the sights, but they have no diversity in their towns. It is a good time. A little crowded, but that's not such a bad thing except for restaurants.
