My salt away flush system! VIDEO now
Selling 5 kits, if interested.
I posted this on another site, but since I own a SeaRay I'll let you guys know what I did....
I used the Neutra salt injection kit on my Merc IO and wanted to see how it affected keeping away rust. I've done some testing with salt away and was amazed with the results. I put a bunch of nails in 2 containers one with a tablespoon of salt away and one not. This is the result after 3 weeks. If I take them out the salt away is clean the other is rust..I used the salt water from my bay. Salt away wanted $795 for the switched system and $995 for the RF system...Hell no I can make it for a lot cheaper. Here is my system. larger 4Qt container , fabricated a bracket, 2 Solenoids that flow the same as Neutra salt, RF controller, Bronze 1 1/4" couplers tapped with SS nipples. Some hose, fitting, connectors and that's it! .Works like a charm.. It's installed and works awesome. Once I hold the button down I wait 45 seconds until I see suds. Then I shut down. If I go to start it say a week later a ton of suds come out for around 3 min...It shows me that there is solution in the engine when at rest and is working..:smt038
I will be selling a few kits this winter if anyone is interested. It will be no where near the price of the Salt Away kit. PM me if your interested.

How it works....
It's very simple. The hardest part was getting all the parts to work the way it should, Salt away flow from the Solenoids, RF remote ect...I'm having to Solenoids custom build to using stainless and to my specs. Here how it works..
Two 1 1/4" couplings get cut into the ray water pickup thru hull. A barbed fitting is T'd into that. In a Bravo Outdrive case it can be spliced into where it comes in the boat. I believe that hose is 1". So...When the engine is running you press either A or B on the RF remote and the Saltaway solution gets directly injected into the raw water neutralizing the salt in the Raw water system of your engine. It doesn't matter if your boat is Closed cooling either. Whatever is raw water cooled will be protected. Wait for the suds out of the exhaust, Shut the engine down THEN release the A or B button. As you can see from my cup test, this stuff works. I can make it for a single system a little cheaper if needed. So far it's only Single and dual engine configs. So far the cost the cost is going to be $425 for the single system and $525 for the dual system. I am not making much off this at all since I am having custom valves made up. I'm mostly passing my project along to help others since I know it has worked well all summer.
Thanks
