My Research on TVs

I went to a small boat show in Jacksonville, Florida this past weekend and they had a Sea Ray Sundancer 32 or 33 there. What I noted was they had a 26 inch LG television mounted above the aft stateroom on the bulkhead. Complete with the Sea Ray foam padding horse collar mounted around the television.

This got me to wondering why owners of older Sea Rays perhaps could not order the same items from Sea Ray and install them on their boats?

Has anyone else done or considered doing this on their boat?

Here is a 19" polaroid LCD with DVD I mounted last spring in my '92 290da. I removed the transformer and direct wired it (fused) to 12v.

Slim pickins...
FWIW, I have the 26" version of the Audiovox. It's an OK TV. For Sports and cartoons, it is fine. I wouldn't try to watch anything dark on it. Are you sure it is 12v?

Hi,
Can you show me how you have your 26" mounted? I'm interested in putting the largest TV in that I can accommodate.

Thank you,
Tim
