Couple random questions from a new boat owner...
Quick background: my boat sat in water since the spring, it got a lot of use the first half of the season, but between work and travelling it sat a lot the last couple months and accumulated a lot of growth. Lesson learned: haul it out a couple times throughout the season to clean it, don't leave it til the end.
I figure I'll take dpvandy01's advice in the "anyone ever acid wash..." thread in the General topic and try the Super Iron Out stuff to remove all the growth..
Is it going to make a huge mess? If I wash the hull at the marina I don't want to make a mess out of their lot. I can just picture an unhappy marina owner standing over a big ol' pile of green gooey stuff mixed in with some toxic chemicals when all is said and done
Anyone have any tips or hints to make life a little easier?
