I only out 8hrs on it so far but I didn't notice any issues turning with mine. I am trying to remeber exactly but I think my top speed with the OEM prop was about 46mph. I changed the prop and went with one pitch down 4 blade because I bought the boat for water sports and usually have lots of people with us so I wanted the low end power of a lower pitch. It is a great boat, you will love it.
My steering is a little stiff. Not awful though.
I'm still on break in, so I don't have a top end speed yet.
Quick question, does your ignition need to be in the on position for the radio to work? Also, how do you remove the ski towbar?
Ski tow bar... Look down into the cavernous storage area (where an engine normally would be). On the aft wall, at the bottom, in the middle, you'll see a cut-out. The ski tow bar extends all the way down to a fitting/sleeve there. There is one bolt that can be removed, then it slips out.
Thanks Jeremy and I appreciate the info you provided on the boat prior to purchase.I really like the upgraded interior. Enjoy.
Thanks SeaRide!Nice looking interior, Bridog. .......and boat.
Curious if anyone has had a notification on a service bulletin issued for certain 190 SPX OB's. Apparently my OB was mounted too low.
Remove the panel in the storage area under the rear seat. The tow bar is secured with some bolts belowMy steering is a little stiff. Not awful though.
