Hello everyone,
I am new to your site, but i am glad to find other boaters with old but classic, fun fiberglass boats, I bought this boat 5 years ago, it is a 1976 240 SRV, and it was a mess when i bought it, it took a lot of tender rubbing and knuckle busting to make it run, and on its final tuning at the boat shop, the guy that sold it to me was there that day, and could not believe it was the same boat:huh:, that was the start of a love affaire with this old beauty, our kids love going out and the wife has learned to like being in the water.
so, to sum it up my first experience and its pains are well worth the rewards when you are on that smooth glass reflective water just cruising with the radio playing classic rock. the best.
