My app is featured in the NY Times!

Good for you ,hopefully you'll get some downloads out of it !! Again, congrats !

Very cool! It takes a lot of work to develop software and it's very rewarding to see it pay off. I'll be checking this out later tonight for my iPad. Congrats!

Woohoo! I know somebody famous...sort of...well, I sort of know somebody sort of famous...oh hell. Congrats.

Sounds like they really liked your app too! Congratulations as that is really awesome to get good press.

Congrats and I use your app on my IPAD....

Congrats Tonka! (but damn those iphones). I know I should haven't gotten one instead of a droid!

Has the iPad version been released, or did you load the iPod version onto your iPad?

I have officially slated the iPad version for January because of new features that Apple is rolling out in September. The main feature is iCloud. iCloud will allow the app to sync your Boating Suite data across all of your iOS devices. Instead of releasing the iPad version now and then adding the new stuff I am just going to do it all at once. I have all of the releases planned through January 2013 with the next one due sometime at the end of this August. Then iPad in January.

from the article: "It’s potent stuff, but sadly for Android users, it’s an Apple-only product, and I’ve yet to find anything like it on the Android market."

Will be getting an Android into the family here shortly; this app sounds nice. Are you going to remain Apple only?

I don't have any immediate plans for an Android version. From a development standpoint, the Android universe is too fragmented. There are too many versions of the OS to support and too many different handsets with a ton of configurations. I would spend way too much time and money just on support. Not worth it. The Apple devices are just better and the old AT&T argument is no longer an excuse with Verizon being an option. My original plan was to roll out an Android version but after spending time on the Android devices I decided to stick with Apple until Android becomes more stable.

Way to go TB!

Now when is that hide the total link going to pop up on the app? I need to keep my wife from seeing how much $$$$$ I pour into my boat every month!
