Nice work. When do we see the pics of the boat's name working?

Great job...lose the name.

haha name is staying for good!! thanks though I'll be sure to have some active pictures after the weekend... I have a ton of land pics ha

I think the name is hilarious!

I love the decal on the back of the panty dropper too. lol

You'll want to raft up with a 370DA that runs around on our lake. The boat's name is Liquor Box.

Your name (and the graphic) is cute - but it would make those outings where you take your new girlfriend's parents for a boat ride rather awkward... Kinda like picking her up for prom in a custom van with water bed in it, and a "if this van's rockin', don't bother knockin'" bumper sticker.

And is Sea Ray paying you for that logo space? Man that thing is HUGE!

Workmanship looks good though - enjoy your boat! Always nice to see the classics out there.

Actually both her parents and mine love the name! Original and all me. I came up with the name and logo. There is such thing as a sense of humor so take it easy and have fun. :)
As far as the Sea Ray logo it was just something different, I'm all about being different and creative I think it looks kinda neat and have had a lot of compliments since the restore!

Appreciate all the comments everyone!

Okay, if you won't change the name then post up some raft -up pics with lots of scantily clad young women.....work with me on this....ha..ha. Really I like some adult humor and a hot chick in a bikini, (or two) I would just feel uncomfortable at the fuel dock with the boat beside me loaded with Mom, Dad and some 12 year old kids....just me. I do appreciate the restoration and it is a neat boat.

I noticed you painted the entire hull below the waterline as well.
Automotive acrylic with clear coat?

I have no idea how long it could survive in the water without causing the paint to fail, but I wouldn't leave it in the water for more than a couple of days...

Looks great...don't care for the name either, but hey- whatever floats your boat...

Welcome to the forum. Glad to see another classic rescued!

I think the name goes well with mine. 'course my wife thinks it's named after a Bon Jovi album. :smt043

:lol::smt043:lol:

As far as the original posters name, Go with it man!! I think it's fun and the name is supposed to be an extension of your personality!! Boat looks great too!! Todd

Looks like you've spent a lot of time and effort on her. What type of paint? More interior pics?

And I've always wondered - how do you paint a boat bottom while its sitting on a trailer???

I think it's great, and the pics are better. It's YOUR boat; name it whatever YOU want:smt021 (coming from a guy that has WET DREAM in 11" letters on his transom):smt101. And keep the pix coming.

Thanks for all of the comments.. I painted all the way to where the boat sits on the trailer... I was going to paint the entire hull but not too keene on laying under a heavy boat while its hoisted up on chains haha!

I used heavy duty single stage omni acrylic automotive paint, I pull it out of the water every use because all I have is a dry storage spot. We've been out a good 15 times so far and paint is holding up quite well actually! I didnt use basecoat/clearcoat because if something did chip the paint the water would get under the clear and start lifting.

Gonna be posting up some interior pics shortly!!! :)

I'm not completely finished with the interior yet. I have finished both of the dash boards as well as the glove box since these were taken and will post those pics up tomorrow. Still have to rebuild my sundeck and a few other things.

Also when I purchased the boat the whole floor was soft so I ripped out all of the ply and rebuilt the floor and fiberglassed over everything plus carpet!
