Is this the infamous Mustang built by Dale? She sure is pretty sitting here in Put In Bay!

Sure looks like it, same font and Flexiteak platform.

What is in the water behind those boats? Looks like green string mops, yuck!

I like how they felt the need to actually post a sign that says "no fires" within close proximity to boats and electrical lines. Of course, if a sign was posted, that means...

That's her!! The new owners took her out for one last weekend trip before hauling for the winter.

Damn I miss that boat.....

Very nice. She definitely stood out of the pack. We were docked right across from her but i never got to meet the owners. Did they bring her over on her own bottom or transport?

That is our lovely Lake Erie sea grass. You can walk on it this time of year.

Zorba (Alex),
I see we got noticed! My wife and I purchased "Mustang" from Dale & Tina in August. Decided to take one last long weekend to PIB for Octoberfest celebration with other club members boats.

We had Mustang transported to her new home in Toledo because I could not afford to take more vacation time. Wish we could have met at the Bay. We like to show her off.

It will be good to meet others here before I wear Dale out with questions:)

Spend a weekend at Put in Bay rafted off with some of these boaters and you would know why they have that sign. Not sure how some of them actually make it to the island it can be a wild place.

Ha! I've been to places like that. Now I understand the need for the sign! :smt001

Geeze, looks like you have to unplug half of your neighbors just to pull out....Seriously though, whats up with the water?

The way to dock at most of Put in Bay, not just the public docks, is side tie and rafting. This is a resort island so if you are coming you will be there for the weekend. IF is it necessary for a boat to leave on Saturday and they are not the 4th boat out the some of the neighbors will get unplugged temporarily.

We stay exclusively on B dock because of the professionalism of the dockmasters and their ability to get boats in and out safely and timely. When we visit the bay we do not intend on leaving until at the earliest 11am on Sunday. There has been many times when i have come back from breakfast or running and the entire rack is gone but me.

If you haven't been to the Bay lately, B dock especially, give it another shot. Except for a couple of the holiday weekends, B dock, is relatively tame. I took my 2 and 6 year old well over 15 nights this year and did not worry about what they were going not see or hear.

As for the sea grass you are seeing, last Saturday was blowing 20-25 out of the NW. This is the west side of the dock so and all the sea grass hat was in the open water was being blown in and caught on that side of the dock.
