Last week Saturday I had my 340 hulled out and stored in heated storage.....leaving the dinghy behind in the well for a week. Well yesterday, I returned to hull out the dinghy, and I come to find this MESS! The dinghy was 1 inch from sinking, with the water line just about to crest over the back transom!! The Muskrats (I believe did it....or some other animal) decided to crawl under the cover and make a home in the bottom of my RIB. Apparently, when they wanted to get out, they ate through the vinyl and into the tube........then made a nest in there with "sea weed", I pulled out about 10 big handfulls of plant life! For their exit, they ate through the other side of the tube and into the water.......:smt100

This is not a patch job to fix. I need a new tube set replacement! Do anyone know where I should start? How do I fix this? Any help would be appreciated!

Nasty rats!!! Squirrels just ate $1500 worth of my daughters wiring harness in her Jetta.

Your insurance man is not going to like getting your phone call, but that's who you should let take care of this. I'd recommend you let them replace your dinghy rather than mess around with fixing it, though that may cost you a bit more.
