So while rafting with friends, can one device provide the signal and multiple boats pick up the same bluetooth signal? Therefore all playing the same music?

Can it be done?

Get a chrome cast audio. It will work but not using blue tooth. It will use a wifi signal to broadcast music. You may need a mifi as well if you do not have one.

not sure about Bluetooth but if you have satellite radio and are using the built in FM Modulator to send the signal to your radio antenna multiple boats nearby can tune to the same FM channel as the modulator and receive the signal....

We have a FM transmitter on our Direct TV audio output and tune in our two stereos to the same channel... Works & sounds great.

Whenever we use FM Transmitter's, we had to use splitters to get at least one system hard wired for full range power. The stereos receiving over-the-air always seem to operate at diminished capacity. Those with higher end stereos, tend to lose interest due to the poor performance, less volume and clarity.

I've been hearing about the Wet Sounds A-Link for about a year. Way back then, it was being tested and hoped to be done in a few months. At this point, I just figured it was dropped. I hope it finally comes out and works well. Sign me up!

They didnt like the chip that was available at the time the first prototypes where built. Went back to the drawing board and built their chip.

As I am not sure that anyone question, because Bluetooth devices pair for security purposes, therefore only one device can connect to another device at the same time. It isn't receiving the signal so much, as it is having the key to unlock it.
