I've been out of town on business so I don't get to keep up on whats going on. I get back to my room around 11pm last night and while channel surfing I come across the end of the Keith Olberman show. Total meltdown. I stay on that channel to watch Rachel Maddow and I get to witness another meltdown. They were tearing up President Obama over the possibility of the extension of the current tax rates. Gotta say I enjoyed it thoroughly.

Yeah, I think Olberman really is insane. It is funny watching the same guy that was practically crying the night Obama got elected melt down like that and turn on him for compromising on a temporary tax policy. Does anyone even watch those MSNBC shows on a regular basis? I am sure there are a copule here on CSR that are big fans of his but I can't imangine there is anyone but the far left watching him.

I am not 100% happy with this compromise either. I think it shows just how hypocritical the left is though when they have been out screaming for nearly 2 years that the Repubs were the party on NO and they wouldn't compromise, etc. Now that a compromise of some kind has been met and they had to give up something, they are raising hell about it. Geeze, they got their 3rd year of unemployment, so what is their problem? What they should be worried about is that there is still no sign of controls being put on spending but I suspect that will slow down next month.

Now, any Liberal should just start by not claiming any deductions so they can pay the higher tax they think they should be paying. How many will do that? None I bet, even the ones here that are constantly saying they should be paying higher tax. They will take all the standard deductions and then keep whining about how they should be paying higher tax. Well, here is your chance to clear your concience and help fund these efficent government programs at a higher level.

Yeah, what a shame. I used to enjoy Olberman when he was an ESPN host. Once he became a politico I just can't stand him anymore. I'm sure a FEW people watch that garbage on MSNBC but if you follow the ratings it's a very small following. Probably equal to the amount of real left fringe zealots that are out there. Not all liberals are loons, just the extremes that won't even listen to reason.
