I am moving to Boston MA in several weeks from the mid-west. Can someone direct me to decent marina's in the area and some approximate rental for a Sea Ray Sundancer 290?
Thank you,
Al

There are no se ay rental dealers in boston /cape area that "rent"..also 290 is rare model in this area...i looked in vain for last 18 months to buy a used 290sd to no avail,,feel free to om or post more..Tom smyth

I think he meant slip rental, but maybe you knew that!
Unless maybe he plans on renting out his 290?

mfilippa just did this last season, from Detroit to Boston. Here's his thread on his inquiries and move... http://clubsearay.com/showthread.php/36093-Moving-to-Boston?highlight=

You'll find our coastal boating quite different thant the Great Lakes, not to mention costs will be quite higher here. You really need to be specific on where you moving to and how close you'd like the boat to be to you, along with any other requirements and/or preferences you may have. There are just too many options and "Boston" is a rather broad area without details.

We just did the reverse trip from Boston area to Niagara Falls in late May, early June 2011.

I can tell you that the prices are considerably more expensive on the east coast with anything from oil changes to slip fees to transient fee dockage. A bit of a culture shock actually.

Please message me if you need any particulars and I'll try to answer as much as I can.
