Welllllll...... Being a Sea Ray owner, I always seem to look at bigger boats and wonder???? Man....... that would be nice to have. Passively looking, but not actively.

My wife and I have found that we like the "Boating Thing!" and pretty much spend every weekend on the boat. It is our weekend Condo so to speak.

I managed to come across a rather new (but used) 1999 Sea Ray 310DA Sundancer in pretty good shape. Within a week, it was ours.

Now I'm a happy - 2 boat owner, and will be looking for a new home and for someone to love the 270DA like we did.

Congratulations...!!!! ....maybe we'll get to see your new "ride"... (or is that "float" in the boat world)...at the BIH get together later in July....

Thanks.......

I was following that thread. I gotch ya down for 7-22 and 7-23, Sun and Monday? at BIH.

Check Vertual Marina for new boat pictures under my profile.

I would rather see it live and in color this weekend  ....................are you going to be around CYC for the opening?

Congratulations

Yep... John, I'll be there all weekend, docking boats, etc, etc.
What day you coming down? Fri. afternoon?

Great looking boat, Congrats!!!

Congratulations, as you're going to really appreciate the extra elbow room.
Take it from another "weekend floating condo" owner.

Even though I'm off Friday, Michele is working so it looks like Saturday around noon..............see you then

Lee,

Congrats. We enjoy ours very much after three years of ownership. We also have the black & gold hull stripes. I think that gives it away as a 1999, but we like the look.

Thanks - to everyone for the compliments, I appreciate that.
We've got the inside all cleaned up and and it is almost full again!!

It is absolutely amaizing how much "crap" we put on and stored on the 270DA. I had built-in shelves and other things and we had stuff stored everywhere. Unbelievable! The 270 is now 2" higher in the water!

Next week I'm having it (the 310) pulled and having "all" the maintenance stuff done so I know I can trust her on the trip runs we have planned for this summer.

Right now the boat name remains the same until I get the time to change it.
"Twice The Fun"
Should be "Twice The MONEY"....
LOL
But the wife's name is Dawn and I just gotta name her:
"Dawn Rae" III

Sea you all on the water.

Come on Lee, strap on a set and name it what YOU want to name it...........sort of like I did with the "Michele Ann"

LMAO........
Yep, I've been thru the renaming process before..... correctly!
And since it's a Sea Ray........ and "Dawn Rae".... kind of a "No Brainer" for us.

Bigger is always better

I am happy for you, but our 270 club will shrink

Mark

I think you will find the 310 to be a very nice boat. I am very happy with mine and would definitely recommend this model to anyone looking in that size range.
