Sorry it has been a while since I posted. Things have been a little crazy for me. We moved our 500 Sundancer to Cedar Creek Marina in Mt Juliet Tn on old Hickory lake.
We are very excited about the move and have met some great people at the new Marina. A couple of great fellas that have actually followed my posts over the years on Club Searay.
I managed to move the boat over to the new Marina last weekend using the trailer that I bought a couple of years ago as a yard trailer. Turns out it is a little better then just a yard trailer and some me a bunch of money on the move. After breaking one hub in the parking lot before we left, the rest of the 22 mile over the road trip went great and the boat is now resting comfortably in the Marina yard having some service work done to her before we drop it back in next week. We had the props tuned this week, the bottom was pressure washed and freshened up, had an issue with my underwater lights, so they are both being replaced by Lumitec under warranty, having a chip repaired in the bow and the gold stripes repaired providing they match well or it is going to be a full replacement.
I guess that I should mention that I am also part owner of the new Marina that we now have our boat docked. The Marina has 186 covered wet slips that are only about 3 years old, fantastic restaurant, two entertainment stages, a large mechanical shop, 2 rental homes and 6 acres of land owned by my partner and I that we have some big plans for. We are also doing a lot of renovations to the pavilion and ship store. We are also adding rental boats and approximately 80 additional covered slips
I have attached some pictures and a video of the boat move. It sure was an interesting and unnerving time.
