Mouse on the Boat

So whats the best prevention?

Moral of the story is to store in a clean, dry, tight, building with no food on board and hopefully no mice. The only mouse problem I've ever had was with the kids' Boston Whaler that was stored in our barn. The mice moved in because it was dry and warmer than sleeping on the ground. Fortunately, Whalers are very forgiving. We just hosed it out in the spring and the problem was solved. SRs have lots of expensive vinyl that can be ruined by rodents.

All kidin aside; I agree 100% with the clean, dry, tight, no food or beding defense. I myself can only meet half these reqirements for now. Thanks to all for havin a little fun with this.

BTW... I have a dirt floor in my boat shed. Mr. Jangles might have trouble rollin his thread spools:grin:. cheers ...Ron
