missing part

I am a new owner of a 1986 210 cuddy that needs restoring. I cant figure out how to get up through the split in the windshield to get to the bow of the boat; is there an easy way? In other pictures I have seen; there seems to be a small sink in front of port side seat. Does this have steps inside that slide out ? I have an empty space there and would like to restore it to original like condition. any help is always appreciated.

The windshield does not open if thats what your asking either use the hatch if your narrow enough, or get you a step ladder and climb over the bow rail, if your on the trailor. There isn't room enough to hang out on the bow IMO while on the water, and there was never any steps made to step up and over the windshield.
