1998 400 DA. Medicine cabinets in both heads have mirrored faces that are aged and deteriorating around the edges. Anyone know of a way to replace or fix. Searched FP Marine and no luck. Wonder if I could just break and remove the glass mirror surface and glue new custom cut ones on but afraid entire door will pull apart when I try to remove the mirror. TIA

I have two wall-mounted above the medicine cabinet that were suffering the same issue around the edges. I took measurements, went to a local glass store, and had 2 a little oversized mirrors cut to go over the old ones...

Yep. That works. Adhere the new glass with double sided tape.

The glass shop sold me the super expensive glass mastic...
You might want to rethink that in case you break one. Would be lots harder to remove the piece if you have an issue. When mine failed on my 370 Express we used tape and never had a problem with them coming lose.

Mark, He probably remembers you from an issue with your business. He's just getting back atcha!:D

Have you removed the cabinet door and taken it to a mirror shop? They might have a solution?
This is what we did. The shop used double faced tape to adhere the new to the old. Our issue was not a broken mirror but rather a mirror that developed black blotches where the coating was failing for some reason.

I replaced all of mine last winter. Took the medicine cabinet doors home and removed the glass and adhesive then took them to a local glass shop. They were only supposed to cut the new mirror but they installed them all by accident so it worked out well for me. Cost was a few hundred bucks.
