Milwaukee Air & Water Show - this weekend

Who's heading up to Milwaukee for the Air and Water show this weekend?!

This will be our first time taking the boat up!! Looking for tips on where to anchor for the day... very excited - should be a great view!

 

[Escapade]

I have Maps of good air show anchorage and Saftey info to share. File too big to post here. Military ship will be in port w/ important safe zones to be kept around them. Shoot me a PM w/ e-mail and I can send file. McKinely Marina also can send e-mail of Safe zone info. Good air show info at Milwaukee air show web site. Friday is good practice day. No notice they just sneek up and scare it right out of you. A saftey zone is set up from the Norht break wall past Bradford beach and to the Filtration plant. If the water is rough it will be best to drop a hook just inside the break wall a bit South of the North gap area. I'll check my computer till Thursday then be free of electronics. Mike

One other quick thing to note. Dont get too close to thebreak wall. They have to rid the Gulls for a couple days w/ bird harassment.
The bird harassment for the Air Show will be starting at 7:00am on 8/8/12.
There will be cannons creating loud booms and pyrotechnics will also be used in areas where the birds are congregating.
The bird harassment operation will be taking place daily until Sunday 8/12/12 up until the Air show is completed.
