A great medium size town treat easily accessible by boat. Right outside McKinley Marina.
Milwaukee Air Show including The Navy Blue Angels July 15 & 16 2017.
Transient slips at McKinley Marina, and Lake shore state park.

They practice the 13th and 14th.

One of the safest places to drop a hook is right inside the inner harbor near the North Gap.

Saw the Blue Angels in Traverse City, MI several times over the 4th of July 2016. Great show! Bring earplugs and leave the pets at home if possible; very loud.

There is nothing like seeing the air show from the water! I've been to about 25 of them, the last five being from the water - no comparison.
The way the runway and show center are laid out, you can actually read the mechanics names on the planes as they tear over your head!
We had the Blue Angels last year and the Thunderbirds the year before. I imagine it is the same every where but they alternate years when they come to CLE.
