We're leaving Saturday morning with a flotilla of 60 boats for the Parkbridge Powerboat Rendezvous, here is the itinerary of anyone happens to be in the area. I'll post pictures when I get back.

Sat July 13, depart Midland/Penetanguishene area and take small craft route to Parry Sound. Overnight at Big Sound Marina.
Sunday July 14 - Depart Parry Sound enroute to Bustard Islands. (2 nights)
Tuesday July 16 - Bustard Islands to Killarney (3 nights)
Friday July 19 - Depart Killarney, direct crossing of Georgian Bay (if wx good), fuel in Parry Sound, and 2 nights at Port Rawson.
Sunday July 21 - Return home.

Enjoy! It'll be a great trip. Mike and Robin are the marina managers from our marina and will be on the trip as well. They are great people so take the time to say hello. I've done all of these areas and they are great boating. Was just up in Parry Sound/Port Rawson last week.

Sweet trip Jim! Enjoy and be safe!

Emjoy the fish and chips in Killarney. They are the best!

That sounds like a boat load of fun.

Thanks Paul! We've actually gotten to know Robin and Mike from a mutual friend before this rendezvous started, and have talked quite a bit during the planning stages. They are great people and we look forward to spending some time with them, and the others.Good thing we have a dingy this year, the raft will be a mile long!

Here are a few iPhone pictures of the trip. Once I go through the 400+ DSLR pics and organize them, I'll add a link to the photobucket album. (in no particular order)

Perfect flat day to leave home port

Heading toward the Bustard Islands (Popular anchorage)

Not often we see Georgian Bay this calm

Bustard Islands

Pizza lunch flown in from Parry Sound

Our raft (we're second from the end)

Dingy in for pizza lunch!

We managed to squeeze nearly 60 boats in the anchorage.

Collins Inlet, long narrow run from Beaverstone Bay to Killarney

Still a ways from Killarney, time to get nervous

Dang, I wish I was there with you instead of being here wishing I was with you. Can't wait to see the Photobucket pics.

Thanks for taking us along with you.

Great Pic's Jim, wish I could've made the trip, I was thinking about you guys, did the schedule change because of the weather, nice wind Thursday & Friday?

we were in Port Rawson Friday aft. when the tornado warning popped up, scooted over to Henry's and tied up around 1:00, then headed to a 12 mile bay anchorage

We ended up scooting across the bay from Killarney to Port Rawson on Thursday instead of Friday, we stayed through the storm there, and left Sunday for home. The storm in Pt. Rawson wasn't bad at all, little winds, lots of rain. I was out on the dink after it came and the moon river was flowing pretty good!
