midcabin dvd tv combo thoughts

So my 2002 410 has a tv vcr combo, that is about 9" screen

To the right of the tv is a cabinet that I think I can access.

I am thinking about pitching the old TV, and in its place mounting a 13-20" tv dvd combo for my daughter. Has anyone replaced the tv in this cabin?

If you're looking for options, I just received a Toshiba 15" LCD TV/DVD combo for my birthday (I gave my wife a hint). It's not 12v, 120 only, but the price on Amazon was right. They have black and white for around $170 and we got free shipping. The only thing I dont like is that it lacks the VESA mounting nuts.

I am baffled on how to remove the old TV. 110V is fine as i only intend on using it at the dock, or in a pinch we have the Genny.

There are no exposed fasteners, but there is a trim piece under the shelf.

I will take a photo and see if anybody has any ideas.

There is no access from the aft head, and while there is a panel in the shelf to the right of the TV, I fail to see how that will provide access.

No, no, no, not a black and white screen... the color of the cabinet can be ordered in black or white. :smt021
