I am guessing my original "built in" Panasonic unit is fried (due to gen set failure) and was trying to take it out this am, but the easter bunny won and I had to stop...has anyone had the pleasure of removing one of these units and can tell me the "secret", I'd appreciate it! It sure as heck doesn't simply pull out!

On my 310DA, it has 2 screws underneath in front and 1 in the back.
look inside the cabinet under it.

I found one screw under the cabinet, and that's it so far, there's a small floresent light mounted under the cabinet, so maybe I'll remove that and see if there's another screw under it...I can move the top of the m/wave, so I must be missing a screw I simply haven't found yet! Thanks...nice looking boat!!!

Now the fun comes, I can't find a m/wave that's 9 1/2" high, the closest I've found is about 10", so now I have to modify the cabinet...fun, fun, fun!

Of course!

Same here with mine. but it was basically not too hard. There was about a 3/8" space around mine that I decided to close up a little by putting some trim around it. I like the trim work look. I put some pictures on my blog, link below.
