Miami boat watching

I am headed to Miami (sunny isles) in a few weeks. Is there a good bar/restaurant where you can watch the boats go by? We went last year but I couldn't really find anything close to us.

If you don’t need the food and drink Haulover inlet might be a good place to watch both boats and people.

One side of the beach at Haulover is clothing optional, just sayin... Watch fools and get some sun.

I plan on hitting Haulover as it's only a couple miles to walk from our condo. I went to Duffy's last year but it was at night.
