Miami Boat Show

When do you plan on going ? I have a few clients to see as well as everything else (Raymarine, Guy Harvey are two of them); so I'll probably come down a few days. Just parking near the convention center is always a challenge and can take a half hour itself.

It's a good idea to find out who, when & where, so we can all meet somewhere down there; and especially if we are going to go to Joe's one of the nights I'll need to know in advance how many and about what time so I can speak to my contact there and see what he can do.

do we post a listing for everyone to sign up and leave names, numbers and emails? or just start it here?

Barry

Someone will have to be in charge of getting all phone numbers together so a week before the event, that person can send an email to all the participants that are going to the boat show with the contact list.

This way, we will not have to post our number in public.

I say that we should meet somewhere on Lincoln Rd which is adjacent to the boat show. All we need to do is set a date and time that is if people want to go early.

Personally for me, any day is fine for me.

Lincoln road is perfect..do you want to start the list? If not let me know..

Sure, I can go ahead and start the list. However, I cannot be the person that people have to call due to my hearing disability. I only rely on text message.

To start the list, you may email me at laguero_24 at bellsouth dot net.

A week before the event, I will send a mass email to everyone (that we have agreed on a date) to receive the phone list.

I'll email you with my info, and can make calls as the event gets here.

I am bringing this thread alive since the boat show is next weekend. I have only received one email and that is from BarryG. If anyone is still interested in getting together to go to the boat show and go to Joe's after, we will need a confirmation from you guys so Barry can get that set up at the restaurant.

Let's get the ball rolling and represent CSR!

Show is around the corner...Let's see who signs up between now and Wednesday...

Too bad no one came thru...I was there Saturday and Sunday, spending Saturday at the convention center, and Sunday down on Collins Ave for the in water area where marine max had the new 350 Sundancer among other beauties. Had a friend looking for a 29-31' and was deciding between the formula and Sea Ray. Formula has the best finish and more powerful engines, but you pay a LOT more than a Sundancer for it. They did offer 0% financing for 5 years, so it was pretty enticing.

Was very impressed with the 350, but if and when I move up from the 320, I don't think 2' is going to be big enough a jump to warrant the additional $$$$$$.

Went to Joe's as usual, and got right in for a great Stone Crab dinner, finished off with Key Lime pie...

Yeah, I was disappointed to hear that no one came through. I went to the show yesterday and spent most of the time at the convention center.

How did you like the 350? I didnt take pics of it while I was at the MarineMax party but I absolutely loved it. Did you take pics of it by any chance?

Yes...I think I still have your email address, and will send them to you later. I did post a few on a thread someone else started about the 350, but they were small. I'll send you the larger ones.. A beautiful boat!!! I'd have to wait about 3 or 4 years to buy a used one...new with all the options it had on it was over $300,000.

I was there sat and sun. Too bad we didn't get this together sooner. I probably walked right by almost all of you!
