I'm about to begin redoing everything on the interior of my boat - - I'll start a separate thread with pictures etc. on that - - but has anyone replaced the wood/paper tambour doors with one of the metallic finishes available?
Such as the "polished black metallic tambour" here:

I see where one owner on here replaced his with a bamboo type material and some others with wood, but I want to get away from the wood if I can.
I can't seem to find a picture anywhere, but I think black or possibly brushed aluminum cabinets would look great withe colors and style I'm planning for everything else....
Does anyone have any pictures of this type of tambour installed in a boat (or installed anywhere for that matter...). Any thoughts would be appreciated as well.
