I have twin 2015 Merc 8.1 horizons in my 97 Searay 330 EC.
When i run at higher RPMs over 25k the port engine throws up a code in Smart craft. 1052-6 Crankshaft or camshaft trigger the device , calculation or process detected a fault.

The engine runs fine and if I lower the RPMs back under 30k it disappears.
The image is from the Smart craft app on my phone. I can seem to read the code in the inboardinboard gage.
My mechanic said to ignore it but that does not sound right. Any advice great appreciated.
