well i have to replace my port engine .7.4 Mpi big block ,none available from mercruiser

Whats wrong that requires replacing the engine. Many engines are replaced that don't need to be.

I agree with Cape Ronn, a long block may be the way to go, or a straight rebuild might do it for you too. I did the long block about 10 years ago and still have the engine running. But the thing with our engines is, it's getting tough to find parts. Anyway, this is the place I bought my long block from (and it looks like they still have them):https://www.1800runsnew.com
