Mercruiser Sea water pump with pulley (requires rebuild) $500 OBO

My mechanic pulled this out as it was leaking and replaced it with a new pump. I’m selling is as it. It does require to be rebuilt.

FYI - impeller replaced year before.

Pump Sea water part #: 46-862914T11 or 8M0139996
Pulley part #: 862351T or 8M0150724

a new pump is more than $1100 with a pulley installed. I’m selling this for 1/2 prices. Sold as kit.

Dude really? A new pump is $500. Those are not rebuildable at any reasonable amount. If it was you would have done it. That is a pos. Just cause you paid 1100 doesn't mean the pump is half price. If you would have installed it then it would have been just the part. Come on man.....................good luck.

The new pump is $950 + $100 for the pulley! This pump has air fittings making it that expensive vs the regular pump at $500. Apparently and I'm no expert is this would be normal. The rebuild kit is about $100 and based on feedback I received from members here, it's requires basic skills plus an hour worth of effort. Oh the 950+100 + TAX

Just wondering why you bought back half with air fittings also? Hardin sells a new, much better then stock pump with pulley for $549. Might want to lower your price a bit.
