Can anyone recommend a shop in the Baltimore, MD area to replace or repair a bent prop shaft? I have considered DIY, but have heard that a special tool is needed for alignment.
The boat is a 1998 190BR with 190 HP Mercruiser/Alpha 1 outdrive. I will likely need to replace the prop as well. Anyone have a 14" 23 pitch prop to sell? I would love to find a 4 blade prop in the same pitch, but have only seen them in high dollar SS. I would be fine with an aluminum prop at this point.
