Has anyone utilized the flush kit offered by PPT? Part number 22-861932A 1. Trying to find fresh water flush system that works well.:huh:

I don't believe you can put a flush system on the Alpha 1 drives since the impller is in the outdrive. At least a flush system where you can start the motor while flushing.

Bucit.....realize Alpha 1's water pump is in outdrive. Trying to have set up to flush motors/headers without running motors....any ideas?

Well mechanic who is working on my boat in Florida says that the Perko system he is installing on my 4.3's 7 Alpha 1's will work fine. Trusting that he is providing me with a system that will do what it's supposed to......will post again in a few weeks when I get a chance to try it out.
