Mercruiser 260 tune up

I have an '86 Sedan Bridge 300 with twin Mercruiser MIE 260 model 350 cubic inch engines. The starboard recently just started not revving much over 3000 RPMs and I was hoping a tune up might fix the problem. I have a couple questions on parts.

1. What is the easiest way to find best brand and part numbers for plugs/wires/cap/rotor?
(Engine sticker says it takes AC-R43T plugs)

2. Should I get a compression test done first or is there anything I should try before a tune up?

check the compression with all the plugs out. Napa parts are good enough for me.

Thats the correct plug for that model range years, dont try get fancy with NGK iridium. Those are for 100k mile cars not change every 2 years boats.
Other parts - Quicksilver/ Sierra/ mercruiser.
NAPA good, none around me.

Thanks for the great info! Napa was able to help out with all the parts and I should have them this morning. I was not sure if they could look up boat engines.

posted similar in another forum but the more the better. I need to locate model number for shift cables for 86 300 Sundancer with twin 260's. Gonna try pulling them and oiling first during layup. Need same info for impeller. Any suggestions?
