Hi,
Just using the oil drain pipes connected to the sump for the first time, on one engine the hose fitting in the sump (where dipstick also enters) points upwards so will never drain all the oil out via gravity, but on the other engine the same fitting swivels to it can point downwards so that all oil can run down and out.
Engines are 2002 4.3 v6 EFI.
Which one is faulty, I can live with one stuck upwards and just extract remainder with dip stick pipe extraction, but concerned other one not supposed to move and may lead to oil leak?
Because of their position (and twin engines) I can't get a good look and feel as to what going on with them.
Thanks
Anthony
