Mercathode Systems and Trim Senders Q?'s

Somebody needs to explain to me, why does the trim sender go through the Mercathode unit??????

i don't think it gos through the merc cathode. i think they are just using a common ground or power source. i traced the 230 out but it has been 3 years ago and i don't remember for sure

No problem, I can't wait until someone answers the "why" as I am interested to know too. Mine are not wired in with the senders.

Well, one of my senders wasn't working, and turns out one of them was wired backwards. So, finding this diagram helps alot. I knew about MercStuff, but every diagram I saw didn't show the sender being tied into the mercathode system.
