See the 2nd pic in this listing (sorry, best I could find). It shows what it looks like.
If you are referring to the blue block on the engine that has the 4 posts for mercathode then no the trim sender wires do not got there....It is a positive and negative from the battery and the other two wires go to the outside of the boat.
I notice you have your boat on a trailer....If you keep it out of the water on your trailer the mercathode is pointless to have.....It only helps when the boat is in the water slipped and not moving.
I asked very similar questions. Got these answers. Hope it helps.

Reasons why someone would remove MerCathode?
does it matter which one of the wires goes to the blue block from the trim sender, the connectors are bullet type from factory on the trim sender and the connection from the old sender on the mercathode have eyelets connectors, I was going to splice using waterproof connectors to make it easier to connect....thanks for getting me this farOK, that solenoid is the starter slave solenoid and has nothing to do with the Mercathode system. The trim sender wires go to the trim gauge on the dash, the trim limit switch wires go to the trim pump. The Mercathode wires go to the Mercathode control module (the blue block.) The pic you posted shows the trim sender wires I believe routed by the Mercathode controller but not attached to it. They simply used the Mercathode as a place to attach the wires en route to the dash. Also, if you have a zinc block on your transom housing, you don't have a functioning Mercathode unit on the boat. A previous owner may have removed it and went to zinc if he kept the boat on a trailer or had a bear of a time trying to install a new Mercathode unit on the transom housing. It can be a bit difficult as mine was this spring.
Before you go cutting ,what type of connectors are on the trim limit switch wires
If you actually have the trim sender wires, it dosent matter. one goes to the gauge and one goes to ground
