Well, the family and I were able to spend our first full weekend on the boat over the Memorial Day holiday. Not sure about the rest of you in the Southeast, but, on our little bit of water on Lake Lanier, the entire weekend was a letdown!

Cloudy and rain. I know we need the rainfall, but, damn.:smt013

It was a beautiful day here in New England. Cruised over to Martha's Vineyard for some shopping and then over to a favorite gunkhole on Naushon Island for a cookout and swim. Water was 60 degrees, but that didn't stop us from swimming. brrrrr..

Sorry to hear about that, but we had 4 days in a row with very little wind and 75 degrees. I couldn't have asked for better weather.

On the East Coast, Cheapeake Bay, we had a beautiful weekend......

Never took the boat out of the barn! :smt089 It rained all weekend long in PC until Monday afternoon time to go home, the sun finally peeked in! :smt009 Oh well, we always have this weeked!

Four days of sunshine in Michigan. It started to rain in the middle of the night on the return to work day. Got lots of boating in.

After better than a week of rain things finally started to clear up in the Clearwater area. Saturday was marginal, but Sunday and Monday were fantastic!

For us west Lake Michigan boaters, we had air temp in the low 50's and about a 20 knot wind from the northeast. The water temp is in the high 40's, so we spent the weekend with canvas up and heat on. But it didn't snow!

It was nice in NJ.. This was Friday morning around 8:00 AM off of Sandy Hook.

It was a beautiful weekend here in the metro detroit area. Around 70/75 and sunny all weekend. I am FRIED to prove it lol.

Well, I'm glad to hear that weather from the Chesapeake up to Maine and over to the Great Lakes was tolerable! The Memorial Day weekend down here is the traditional transition to summer. Highs in the low 80's usually.

I spent the weekend cleaning parts of the boat that I didn't know could get dirty.

Also, I notice my other Southeastern brethren haven't chimed in, so, I'm going to assume that they shared in my misery:smt089

Ditto! It sucked! I did the same thing and cleaned my boat and just when I got her nice and clean, down came the rain again! I wish I had the extra $1700 for a covered slip for the season!

Uh huh... don't believe you. Not until you change that profile pic. :smt009

The weather finally turned nice on Monday for us down in south Georgia on the coast. Great day on one of the barrier islands. The beach looked like a parking lot with all the boats packed in. That's what we get with only 1 good day out of a 3 day weekend. This weekend is supposed to be even better! No rain and all sun. But then again, I wouldn't bet the farm on what our weatherman predicts!!

I was going to post pics and video tonight. Should I refrain?
Uh, yeah weatherman said we have not had that four days of above 70 and sunny in this area for Memorial Day since '69.
