As the weekend is kicking off, I wish everyone a safe one. May your, generator, ac, shitter and windlass all work without issue. I for one enjoy hearing about all the nonsense that occurs on this weekend each year so please feel free to entertain us with the dumbassery you witness or perform between now and Monday eve... (bonus points for pictures that make us laugh)

LOL... Don't forget the drainplug!!! Those are the best. Me not leaving the dock, amature weekend down here. Not worth it.

No boating for us this weekend. Windy and rainy on Cape Cod. If you’re lucky enough to have good weather, enjoy the weekend.

Not boating related but Memorial Day is near, so..... My father fought in WW2 and every night for decades after, he didn't tell bloody stories about it, he did make this comment more than once, 'I couldn't have imagined such a waste of human beings, by either side'.

I've watched a lot of Veteran interviews, I got something in my eye at the end of this one. Lets hope it wasn't all for nothing.

Thanks Woody. Please remember our Veterans this Memorial Day. Excellent advice at the end and a hard truth which at times I fall victim of.

Please remember those who have given all for us. When you are out at the beach enjoying yourself just remember those who's day at the beach was thier last or all the others not on a beach somewhere that paid the ultimate price for our freedom. God bless America and God bless our armed forces.

We did manage to sneak out and head north for the weekend. Weather after friday was really nice here. Wife took this on the way home.....ole glory with ole doggo!View attachment 106349
Shenanigans77, where north did you go? We just spent time at the marina and took the boat out to Munchies on Sunday for a while.

I ran out of gas!!!! Yep........I did! Called Sea Tow (I'm a member) just north of Ponce inlet. 50 minute wait for Sea Tow, Fast moving current and both anchors didn't hold it, finally asked an older couple to tow us to a private dock.
I know better to trust a fuel gauge (private pilot) Live and learn...
