Me Want

Where are all the flight instruments?

okay, John Denver. Did you see him almost ditch the wing?

Mike,
I've got a nice Avid HH I'll sell you with a full set amphib floats and trailer. Do you have a private or sport license?

it's an ulralite bolted to a jetski, who needs gauges.

No, I don't have a license.

You know, you get that and a recreational ticket then the next thing you're upgrading to an IFR ticket and a Columbia 400. Then you're looking at a Baron. It works the same way with planes as it does with boats.

Ye, but boating is some much more forgiving.

The ability to "trailer" , like a boat, completely changes the dynamics of what is currently required to own and fly- namely that it can be kept at your house instead of an airfield, and can be trailered to a suitable location for take-offs and landings.
No airfield reqired! And, at a price that's 1/3 or less than conventional aircraft means that it's affordable to many that couldn't (or don't want to) spend 300-500K.
For me, it would be a lot easier to justify a $140K toy like that than one that cost three times as much (that I couldn't afford, anyway!).

I'd go for the parachute option...call me a wuss.
