Good day all
I have 2006 SeaRay Sundancer 260 with Lofrans Marlin ML009918 windlass with foot control at bow and helm control. Recently it has been intermittent and I checked wires and think that one was loose. I pushed them down and the windlass works more consistently. However, while doing so I noticed that the plastic mount and rear connectors are very brittle and I would like to replace the controller.
Over the off season I wrote to Lofrans about their Touch Panel Up/Down and inquired as to whether it could be a swap out for my existing. They responded with “Please note that if your current installation has a relay/control box between the helm switch and the motor then our new touch panel will be compatible.”
I am wondering if anyone here can confirm whether my boat has the relay/control box that they speak
of.
