June 5th was the last time we used the boat at the marina. It had been stranded for 3 weeks, when me and my brother in law finally had to swim out and rescue it.

Had to drive about 17 miles up river in flooding conditions to get to another marina which was not yet closed.

1 time since we've taken it out, boated a lake that was clearly to small for our boat. Clearly way to crowed to boot.

Now it sits in our driveway, our new this year boat has less than 20 hours on it, probably been to full speed less than 5 minutes it's entire life span.

River just rose 8" between wed and thurs and is on it's way back down again. River level needs to be about 21-22' before the parking lot is no longer under water, then clean up will begin.

That should guarantee this weekend is shot, probably next weekend shot, then we are into august.

Last year we cursed the cold crappy weather. This year it's beautiful and we are cursing for a whole other reason.

The BS is getting thick.:smt009

And yes, i'm whining.

Trailer it to a place without this problem. It's time to go boating man!
