Marina advice for Bimini

I've never been to Bimini. Any recommendations on the marina to stay at? Also, I saw some of the terrific dive photos. Is there a guide or does anybody have any snorkel spot recommendations? Thanks.

Last year we stayed at Bimini Big Game, but they are now closed. The newest place to stay is Bimini Bay, biminibayresort.com

There are quite a few places to dive, most you can look up online, from Atlantis Road, to the wreck Sapona.

I'm going to go in either late April or early May when it looks like I can catch a three day window of good weather.

You should try to come with all of us that are going on the Bahamas Fling in June, put on by the Bahamas, there will be at least 10-20 boats going over for a 3 or 4 day weekend... We did it last year and had a great time..

I saw that and it looks great but the timing doesn't work for me. By any chance do you have the itinerary or schedule from last year?

I've been told that Bimini Big Game will be open this summer. If that is true, it offers a much different experience than Bimini Bay. You might want to look at their web site to see what they offer.

I called Bimini Big Game and got voice mail on the 800 #. The direct number has been disconnected. I also sent an Email and received an automated reply. Who knows?

Things are shifting around a bit and I may be able to make the June trip to Bimini with Bahama Tourism. That's what I really want to do. I've heard great things on this board and others about their trips.

The forecast this week is really making me antsy to head out. Winds of <10MPH and seas of <2' all week. Wind is out of the SE with not a hint of North to think about.

I wish!!!!!

We have been fortunate to see those conditions on more than 1 occasion. One of those videos was made 2 days after our crossing had to be postponed due to high seas!

We would really like you to join us at PL if you can.
