Hi all i live in Plymouth, Uk
Ive been looking for a quality cruiser and wow! i came across a Sea Ray 280 in excellent condition with only 160 hours on the twin 4.3 efi Mercruisers and boy they sound sweet.
Its our winter now so i have had all the hull cleaned and anti fouled, trim tabs and props polished, serviced and winterised.
Just been fitting a Glomex arial and fitted the signal amplifier and splitter in the cabin electrical cupboard, 1 x 16" tv on the shelve above the microwave on a swing out bracket and 1 x tv near the base of the outside cockpit arch to the right.
Fitted extra concealed sockets etc for the tv`s, 12 volt socket and double mains waterproof sockets in the outside wet bar cupboard ready for electric cool box and any other appliances that may be needed.
Also ran 1.5mm and 1.0mm audio for the tv to the cockpit to amplify via the on board stereo and the 1.5mm for a subwoofer in the wet bar cupboard.
Done the install over several weekends and the end products is excellent as you can not see any cables at all! even in the engine bay i have used plastic flex tubbing for any newly installed cables just like Sea Ray would have done.
Been hard work but you know what they say if your going to do a job, then do it properley
