Owner of a “new to me” 2007, 260 Sundeck, with a 5.7L, Bravo III.
Engines
Merc 5.7
I have to replace the manifolds, spacers, and risers on my 07 Sundeck 5.7 Mag MPI.

To those that have replaced yours on the same engine, any recommendations on who to buy/ stay away from for cast irons?

Lastly, if my manifolds, risers, and spacers are not currently dry joint, is there any issues with replacing them with dry joints?

If you plan on keeping your boat a while stick with Mercruiser products especially if it is salt water.

In the past I have used Barr with good results but I was not planning on holding the boat long term and wanted to sell it with manifolds being recently changed. In fresh water they may be fine.

All, sorry I didn’t specify. It is a salt water boat, and I plan on keeping it for another 5-6 years

I agree you must have dry joints on your boat. Replaced my risers and manifolds with Barr product. Ordered from Michigan Motors. The spacers you have presently have can be reused with a little cleaning and sanding. That would save you $500.00 in parts.

Just went with CP Performance in California. GLM all around, but I will be swapping them every 3 years until I give up or the boat does. These are wet stack, with 6" spacers.
