I have twin 5.7s wet style Manifold & risers with 6" extensions that are nearing end of life. I'd love to convert to dry joint but the price of an OEM dry joint setup is almost double the cost of OEM wet. Since the dry joint design is so much better, I was considering doing an HGE dry joint instead of the OEM wet. Price is pretty close and since it's X 2 was thinking this would be a pretty good option. Opinions?

I would definitely go dry joint - try doug russel for OEM they seem to have the best prices.......but I would go aftermarket dry joint before I did OEM wet.....

No I'm at 6 years on the current manifolds and risers. I bought the boat through Marinemax 6 years ago and they had just changed everything at that time. The current ones looked good when checked prior to last season but getting up in age. Even though I flush after every use, I'm starting to get nervous.
